Many teams struggle to complete action items. When busy professionals leave a meeting they enter into a world of email overload, surprise tasks, and endless interruptions.  This video from our popular Get Control! of Meetings seminar will help you and your team get all action items completed!

1.  Complete actions on a single document that can easily be shared with the team.
2.  Over-describe each task to avoid procrastination when you revisit the action days or weeks later.
3.  Review action items as a team so that your action list is clear, complete, and fully approved by every team member.
4.   Use Office 365 or Google docs to share the tasks and track progress.  (Free template at www.getcontrol.net/free)

Another great idea is to always list the action items at the top of your document preceded by an asterisk.  Each action item should contain the Who, What, and When the the task.  Make sure that you discuss these insights with your team and get everyone’s agreement.  You will be thrilled when you see your team’s performance lifting off!
